What is “other” on iPhone storage?

Is your iPhone content full? Are you unable to take new photos or download the application? Have you already deleted unnecessary photos, applications, and other multimedia, but you still don’t have enough space? What to do in this case? There is a way, and that is to empty ‘other’ storage. What exactly is ‘other’ storage? And how to effectively get rid of its contents? Follow our article and find out what is hidden in the ‘other’ storage and what to do to clear its contents.

What is iPhone ‘other’ storage?

Typically, iPhone ‘other’ storage stores unnecessary files that only eat up iPhone space. The other section collects files such as .doc, .pdf, .psd, .zip, .dmg, system caches, browser caches, chunks, application plug-ins, and similar files, and not belonging to any from the category of movies, photos, music, applications, or email.

It is possible to manually delete subsequent files that take up space in the ‘other’ space but to effectively remove everything that is there, you should do a Backup and Reset with iTunes. For this purpose, we invite you to read our article, where we show you how to do it effectively.
